Lizzie Connor Interior Designer
Lizzie has worked over the past decade in the Interior Design Industry. Most recently for award winning Interior Design & Architecture studios in London, namely, Run for the Hills, Kai Interiors and Ackroyd Lowrie, designing for household names within the residential and hospitality industries including Battersea Power Station, Coppa Club and Flat Iron, as well as a multitude of private residential clients.
Lizzie’s mission is to make good design accessible, by giving people the opportunity, skillset and confidence to implement their own vision.
Interior Design has become an interest for many, but implementing this can be an overwhelming task. Hence the justified premium price tag of a professional Interior Designer. But if you have the creative vision, why not learn the most effective way to implement a project, with an expert guiding you, for less than 10% of the cost.

This 1 day course tailored to suit your specific interior design needs.
We’ll begin the day by deep diving into your project to determine where you feel the most confident and where you would like a helping hand in terms of design and practical implementation. This will determine the direction of the day's consultation.
The rest of the day will be completely bespoke, designed specifically for your project needs. This could include refining your inspiration imagery, designing a layout to suit your lifestyle, budget allocation, or perhaps you have specific problem areas you would like help tackling. We may work on sourcing furniture, designing bespoke storage solutions, choosing paint colours, or simply guide you with where on earth to start!
At the end of the day you will have gained confidence and direction to move your project forward, and if you need a little more help you can simply book further day sessions with Lizzie. Every day course includes professional design templates relevant to your project stage.
A FREE 15 minute remote session is the perfect way for you to hear about the service in more detail, and see if it suits your needs. It also allows Lizzie to understand what direction the day session will go in so you can make the most of your time together.

How long is the session?
These are one day sessions, but depending on your needs this can be fully flexible. Lizzie will discuss this further with you on your free 15 min intro call.
Is this course right for me?
Do you have Pinterest boards full of dream interiors, or magazines with the pages dog-eared for ‘one day…’? Do you have ideas for your space but don’t know where to start? Or perhaps you know exactly what you want, but need a helping hand with certain elements.
Whether your project is in full swing, hasn’t yet begun, or a dream space you hope to create one day, the Notes on a Home ‘Helping Hand’ Day Course will walk you through the elements of the design process you need help with, making it achievable and most importantly enjoyable!
Why is this more suited to my project than hiring a designer?
Traditionally for smaller projects the fee of an interior studio is difficult to scale down. As much as all parties would like to, it is very hard for a studio to go lower than £1,000 per day. With Notes on a Home guided learning you are paying a one off consultation fee for a single designer. You’ll have full creative control, skills for future projects and a lot of fun along the way!
Are the sessions remote or in person?
Depending on your location, requirements and preference, Lizzie can work with you remotely or in person. We can discuss what is best for you in the intro call. Please note if you are based outside of London, we may need to charge an extra minimal amount for travel on the day, however we try to keep this to a minimum.
